ASIAN MARKETS WEAK

In early trade on Tuesday, Asian stocks were shackled by holidays in some regional markets and the United States and the UK. 

Japan's Nikkei was down almost 0.1 per cent, while MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was flat early on Tuesday. 

China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets are closed for holidays on Tuesday.
